Regain Your Libido and Sexual Wellness

Has your libido taken a downturn?

If you are peri/post menopausal, hormones could be the reason

Estrogen and testosterone are the two major players in women's libido and they can decrease during peri/post menopause.

Did you know that women produce 10 x more testosterone than estrogen?

Once these hormones decrease, your libido can be nonexistent.  Luckily there are things we can do to increase your fun in the bedroom.

First, it's best to get a comprehensive blood panel to look at all hormones, including thyroid.  Once the hormones are balanced or replaced, your libido should increase.

Hormones that are usually replaced by the postmenopausal woman are estrogen which can relieve vaginal dryness, help your skin look good, and helps prevent urinary tract infections.

Testosterone can relieve brain fog, increase lean body mass, and increase libido and sense of well-being.  Women are given a much lower dose than men so you will not look masculine if you are prescribed testosterone

Progesterone is needed if you have a uterus and take estrogen and it is best taken nightly.  Progesterone helps with anxiety and can help with a good night's sleep.  It's also good if you have irregular menses and/or bad cramping.

Other fun things:

Scream Cream: different pharmacies have different formulations.  Sildenafil (Viagra)  cream helps vasodilate, some contain testosterone cream. These are some of the main ingredients. Applied to the clitoris and external genital region, nipples.  Apply 30 minutes before activity.  Not to be used with oral intercourse.

Oxytocin: Also known as the Love Hormone and Bonding Hormone comes in a spray or under-the-tongue tablet. Can help with sexual response/orgasm and stress reduction.

I started as a health coach and found that while I moved the needle for many clients, there were some I struggled to help. I knew I needed to be able to run labs to get to the root of their issues. Some coaches experience success in helping clients overcome mild health issues, but many struggle to achieve the desired results. This often leads them to pursue advanced training and certification in hopes of finally helping people feel their best again. I decided to do just that to help people end the cycle of trial and error by testing and not guessing!

How FDN Practitioners Differ from Health Coaches

Health coaches are a great source of support for their clients. They offer accountability and encouragement, which is perfect for clients transitioning to a healthier diet or new exercise program. However, health coaches often hit a wall when trying to achieve deeper results with their clients.

FDN practitioners can also be a great source of support for clients. But the use of functional lab testing allows them to delve much deeper into what is happening within the different systems of the body. FDN Practitioners interpret these tests differently than doctors. While doctors look for test results that fall within specific reference ranges to diagnose diseases, FDN practitioners don’t diagnose or treat disease. Instead, they look for subtle patterns in the body that indicate imbalances, even if these fall outside the reference ranges used by doctors. These clues help FDN practitioners identify where the body could use natural support to return to balance.

The D.R.E.S.S. for Health Success® Protocol

The D.R.E.S.S. for Health Success protocol uses all-natural lifestyle changes to help clients get results. It is highly customizable for each individual client, using diet, rest, exercise, stress management, and specific supplementation. This protocol helps clients uncover hidden bad habits and sources of stress impacting their health. It's not about managing symptoms but about providing the body with the natural building blocks it needs to support its ability to rebuild health.

The protocol is easily replicable for each client while offering a customized approach to health that suits their specific needs.

Ending the Need to Chase Symptoms

People seek health coaches and other alternative health practitioners because they don’t feel as good as they should. They want to feel better and look for someone who can help. Many have seen their doctor, or even multiple doctors, searching for answers, often being told there is nothing wrong with them according to the test results.

This leads them to spend time and money searching for solutions, typically focusing on symptom relief. Many clients who come to work with an FDN practitioner have already spent thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars, trying to find solutions. They want to feel better but don’t know how to achieve it.

FDN practitioners have a much higher success rate than conventional health coaches. FDN health detectives are trained to look for subtle patterns and imbalances in the body that others miss. They support their clients in making the necessary lifestyle changes that can reverse these imbalances, helping them achieve real results.
